nothing better than being able to pick an apple from a tree and in this case it is a Worcester Pearmaine. This apple was introduced in 1974, raised by a Mr Hale, ancestry possibly Devonshire Quarrenden which has some similarities. It was widely grown through the 20th century but has declined rapidly over the last 30 years.
